Walks enrich your dog’s life as well as your life.

Walking your dog is a great way to bond, get some physical exercise, enjoy the outdoors, and get great mental stimulation for both of you.  If those aren’t enough reasons to walk, now you can also help the City of Arnold Animal Control simply by walking your dog!

Walk for a Dog is a revolutionary dog-powered app that turns your dog walking time into funds that will help every animal at the City of Arnold Animal Control.

The FREE app is from WoofTrax.com and can be found at your smartphone’s App Store.

After downloading the FREE app onto your smartphone, enroll and choose “City of Arnold Animal Control” as the animal organization you want you and your dog’s walked miles to benefit.

Walk for a Dog Program App

Then take the phone with you every time you walk your dog(s)! Simply press the “Start” button and the app will keep track of all your walks. For every mile you walk, a donation will be made to the City of Arnold Animal Control!

Walk for a Dog sends money to active shelters and rescues about three times per year. Donations are based on the number of people walking for an organization and the total miles walked. The amount per mile donated varies based on these factors, with the most recent donation averaging about 25 cents per mile. The more walkers an organization has walking for them, the greater their benefit.

Even if you don’t have a dog, you can still use the app! You can walk for one of the dogs at a shelter or rescue by choosing the “Walk for Cassie” option after enrolling (Android only for now – this feature is coming to iPhone soon).

Every animal that will benefit at the City of Arnold Animal Control THANKS YOU FOR YOUR HELP.
