Doing Business with the City of Arnold
We appreciate your interest in doing business with the City of Arnold! We want to assure you of our interest in seeing that all vendors have the opportunity to do business with the City of Arnold.
Generally speaking, every person, firm, association or corporation “engaging in business activities” within the City of Arnold is required to obtain an Arnold Business License whether or not a place of business is maintained within the city limits (City Ordinances Chapter 14). This license must be issued prior to providing any goods or service or the award of any purchase order or contract.
In addition to a Business License, some entities are required to obtain a No Tax Due Letter from the Missouri Department of Revenue. Please contact the Arnold City Clerk’s Office at 636-296-2100 for complete details.
Firms providing professional and other services to the City of Arnold are required to provide a Certificate of Insurance & Endorsements and complete a Hold Harmless Agreement. The IRS requires the City of Arnold to have a completed Form W-9 on file for all vendors. Please contact the Finance Department at 636-282-6663 for complete details.
In addition, certain Public Works and other projects funded with Federal Grant monies have special conditions that require additional documents to be included in all bid packages issued by the City.
